James E. Decker Const Company, is a commercial general contractor and construction manager in Florida (CGC023920) with roots going back to James L. Ewell Construction Company, which began serving Florida in 1931. In 1954, J.L. Ewell Construction branched out and became one of the largest highway contractors in the state.
In 1982, James E. Decker, a third generation family builder, re-activated the commercial building program for J.L. Ewell Construction and operated under the Ewell Construction name until 1990, at which time the name was changed to James E. Decker Construction. Company and later to James E. Decker Const Company.
James E. Decker Constr Company assists clients with the complete building process, from design build projects to competitive and negotiated contracts. We provide turnkey construction from site clearing and site preparation to completing all elements of construction for each project. Using state of the art techniques and software developed for the construction industry, coupled with years of experience in problem solving and dispute resolution, James E. Decker is able to deliver to our clients quality projects on time and on budget.
Members of the Decker team bring a wide range of commercial construction knowledge to every project. Our team members possess keen insight when overseeing projects due entirely to their extensive experience in multiple aspects of the construction process. Their diversity in experience brings a depth of knowledge to the company, which adds value to every project for our clients. On average, each team member possesses twenty-seven years of construction experience.
